We had to take a quick trip up to Canada 2 days before Halloween and truthfully, I wasn't sure if we would get the chance to go trick or treating. But thankfully, my mom was up for a drive so Jane and my mom and I drove in the car behind the boys and watched them go door to door in my old neighborhood (at the last minute, I happened to through a cowboy hat, bandana and the police costume Joey got for his birthday in the car).
It goes to show you that if things don't go exactly as planned, you might just end up with something as good or even better (Canadian candy is YUMMY---especially Aero bars).
We didn't get to see Aunt Greta, but we thought of her hanging out with us the whole time we were there...it's so great to be living just a couple hours away from her now eh?
