Expecting

The countdown is on to when our newest addition will arrive...and I have to admit, I am finally dying of curiosity if our new baby will be a boy or a girl...and will this one finally look like daddy (please give us some curly brown hair and brown eyes!) and if daddy will make it home from Cambodia in time for delivery (yes, he is off in South Asia but just for this week and will be back in exactly 52 hours).

#1 looks just like his baby pictures and has the same demeanor he did when he was born (a little serious, a little laughter and a lot of curiosity).

#2 doesn't look anything like his newborn baby picture and the quiet, calm entering into the world has succumbed to endless questions and entertaining.



I love these boys and I love having boys...I've grown to like blue and all that goes with it...pink will definitely be a new adventure! 24 days to go...I'll keep you posted!

Christmas 2007

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Dad and the boys had matching sweaters in anticipation for a month of celebration.







Our advent wreath is a log with a candle for every day of advent. You might notice we were good at the beginning, but started to miss days once in a while as Christmas got closer :)











Ben was thrilled with this cool pirate outfit from cousin Clara as well as all the fun things Santa brought from the North Pole...Santa was very important this year (strongly influenced by a movie called "Elf" and "The Polar Express").








And we made it to Nelson to see the Bartsches in Canada and had a true white Christmas...what could be better?
