The other day I was over at Nate and Jennie's house and for dessert, Jennie had Colette, now 10 years old, bake chocolate chip cookies. And oh, my goodness, they were gooood! The best cookies I've ever had, ever! So, I bribed her to give me the recipe and I conned her into making some for me and all the kids when I was over again the other day and she gave me permission (after more bribing) to post the recipe on my blog. Enjoy!
Colette's Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
The trick to these cookies, is that Colette put it ALL in the bowl at the same time and mixes it ALL together at one time until smooth, then adds 2 cups of chocolate chips and stirs them in.
Bake in preheated oven at 375 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.

I will definitely try that recipe, my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Way to bribe the girl!
YUMMM! I have given up all the fun foods to be sure that I look presentable at the wedding...but this is tempting.
